How this works

We fetch the page once, like a browser would, and scan the HTML for known analytics script signatures. We do not execute JavaScript, so:

  • Tools loaded via Tag Manager conditionally may not show up
  • Tools injected client-side (e.g. via a React effect) won't show up
  • Tools behind a cookie banner that wait for consent won't show up until consent is given

The most reliable test is still: load your site in a private window, open DevTools → Network, and look for the analytics requests directly.
